Christy L. Elliott serves as Market President for the Charleston/Parkersburg/Corridor G markets of BB&T, now Truist.  She manages the market franchise and is responsible for BB&T’s banking operations in 7 counties. Since joining BB&T in 2004, Christy has served as a Financial Wellness Consultant, Merchant Sales Consultant and Commercial Banker before being named Market President in May 2017. 

The Mt. Olive, WV native earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Concord University in Athens, WV and graduated from The BB&T Banking School at Wake Forest University. She is also a past participant of Leadership Kanawha Valley. 

Christy currently serves as Secretary of the Charleston Area Alliance, President of Rotary Club of Charleston, and Co-Chair of the Women’s Innovative Network WV Chapter, a Business Resource Group at Truist. Christy is also member of Concord University Business Advisory Council. 

She resides in downtown Charleston with her partner Chris and their four-legged pup Mercy. When she’s away from the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling.
