Dr. Angie Settle, DNP, APRN, BC, FNP, is the CEO of West Virginia Health Right, Inc., the state’s oldest and largest free and charitable clinic serving over 40,000 low income uninsured and underinsured West Virginians.  The clinic offers medical, dental, pharmaceutical, vision, behavioral health, substance use disorder care, health education, mobile dental and mobile medical/street medicine services.  The clinic has three locations including the recently opened one on Charleston’s West Side that focuses on access to care and the reduction of health inequities in the largely minority neighborhood. Last year the clinic added a Director of Outreach, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Shayla Leftridge, to help insure that the patient experience at WV Health Right truly reflects the needs of the minority population we serve.  One of their major focuses has been increasing access to COVID testing and vaccinations throughout the pandemic.

Angie completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Charleston, her Master of Science degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Marshall University, her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama and completed the nonprofit leadership program at Harvard’s Kennedy School in the Spring of 2021.  She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 32 years and is mother to 8 children, age 23 to 3 years old.
