Shayla Leftridge is the Director of Community Outreach, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at West Virginia Health Right. She was born and raised in Oakland, CA. and has made WV her home for the last 15 years. Shayla graduated Summa Cum Laude with her MPA from West Virginia State University and has a certificate in Fostering Inclusion and Diversity from Yale School of Management. Shayla has been a community advocate for many years hosting events designed to shed light on racial bias issues and promote unity. Shayla was awarded the Charleston WV Hometown Hero award for her work in 2016.
