Srini Matam is President of Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia, Inc. (TMMWV) located in Buffalo, West Virginia.  TMMWV, established in 1996, manufactures 4-cylinder engines for the Corolla, V6 engines for the Highlander and Lexus RX350 and TNGA engines for the Rav4.  In addition, TMMWV manufactures 8-speed automatic transmissions/Hybrid Transmissions for the Avalon, Camry, Lexus ES, Highlander and Sienna vehicles. Matam is responsible for all manufacturing and administrative functions of the manufacturing plant.

Prior to this assignment, he was TMMWV’s General Manager Drivetrain Division, where he oversaw all manufacturing operations at the drivetrain division of the plant, which produces high- and mid-torque transmissions and gear manufacturing.

During his nearly 21-year career with Toyota, Srini held several other manufacturing management positions at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky Inc. (TMMK), including assistant general manager of TMMK’s Powertrain division. Additionally, he served Toyota Motor North America (previously named Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing North America) as General Manager of Production Control, Business Systems Innovation, and management positions in Supply Chain and Logistics Systems, Quality and Internal Logistics. He started his career as a specialist in Information Systems division at TMMK in 2000.

Matam received a Master of Science in Technology and Production Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India.  

Srini serves on the Board of Education Alliance, WV chamber of commerce, Discover the real WV and University of Charleston, WV. He is strongly engaged with all Business Partnering Groups at WV and five team members across the company. Srini and his wife live in Winfield, WV and have two daughters.
